Well, as I expected, not only did I not lose I gained everything I lost last week.  I didn't log my food. I didn't exercise. I didn't even concentrate on eating well.  It was a bad week for weight loss. (but I didn't gain more than I last week at least)  Time for another re commitment! This week will be better. Sometimes I think what I really need is a shrink.  So many emotions surrounds food and how I eat.  This week will include better food logging food and exercise.  How did all ya all do? IF you have a motivating story you would love to share let me know!!


  1. Recommitting is something that often accompanies weight loss. The key is not to give up, just keep recommitting.

    I think you're doing fabulous, Emily. I've been using you as an inspiration myself. I'm now in the situation where I HAVE to start eating healthy in order to lose weight, because of my health. Thank you for keeping this blog. Your posts are very helpful to me.

  2. I have to re-commit everyday it seems! Every hour even- maybe ever minute! The commitment is my hardest part for sure. Or maybe it is the sticking to the commitment that is hard for me. Either way I understand how you feel so much! Keep on truckin and I will too!!
